You make it sound as though we have some sort of economy "inflates and deflates the values of items". hahahaha lolz. I highly doubt that transfering items from world to world with have such a durastic effect. Also I dont think anyone ever explained why PvP inventory is seperate?
We do have an economy. We have a bartering based system in which users trade items for other items or for services. I've had an in-depth conversation with Sgt. Spike about this. Basically, if a griefer wanted to ruin our server's economy, they would spawn diamonds in small increments and distribute them to any member who wanted them. Over time, diamonds would become so inflated that they would be considered worthless. Since you would only spawn a few of them, a mod/admin would not think anything of it and as long as you kept quiet and were respectful you could literally cripple the entire economy of our minecraft server, complete with inventory resets for every user. While this is an extreme case, it justifies that we do, in fact, have an economy on the server.
