Are capes held from client side or on the mojang servers, because i would really like a cape.

Capes are only for Mojang employees. The only other person with something cool is Deadmau5 who has his ears in minecraft

I could see this as a setup tho... mods and skins can easily replicate the cape and there is no name in the pics.
