alright, so i just came back from a friends house after the weekend to find my nephew (7 years old) was bann from the build server for stealing.
Before i had left for my friends house i was on build server on my account, (michelxshawn) Then some period of myself being gone my nephew (Chris123abc2) used my computer and used the default (minecraft.cc) to log into the game rather then the (minecraft.cc:23456) because it was the last IP entered into my computer. so unknowing-ly my nehpew thinking he was in P.V.P server begun to pillage and raid blissfully. I do not know the full story and i was wondering if it would be possible to get the block log and well as the reason for the ban. and the possibility to talk to the moderator that baned him to get the full story. Just personally i think its a little unorthodox to Ban a 7 year old kid who was not warned. i do understand that he should have read the rules before proceeding with the thieving. My nephew was an active member of the community and if he was aware of the fact that he was in the Build server i can promise you he would have not stolen from anyone.

thank you

we found at least 8 or 9 locations that he had griefed and/or stolen from.

the locations i can remember are Oli's glass dome, Oli's hotel, Oli's Creeper, 3 or 4 homes in dwarfland that were NEXT to chris's home in dwarfland.

i can understand him logging on build on accident, but how can he confuse his home inside a town on build server...for his home on PvP?

also, i often see Chris's name on teh block log for who has opened chests all over the map when i get asked to check out some items that are missing. not saying hes stealing all the time, but he is opening chests in a lot of people houses that dont belong to him. he spent about 5 hours going through peoples chests that day. and he had been on teh build server the day before. and a week before that among other older times.

alright, he was trying to tell me this was the first time he did this, he's usually an honest kid. my nephew does not know the difference between pvp and build, we all know little kids, i'm sorry my nephew did the things that the log said. mind you my nephew meant no harm in what he did. i just felt it was a little stiff to ban him after of what was of my knowledge prior to the situation that this was the first time he did this, plus as family i was obligated to defend him. since now i have both sides of the story i can accurately assume that the ban was indeed for a good cause. As for the greifing, my nephew would not in my opinion intentionally grief a home just to cause destruction to the facility and i would like to apologize publicly to the people my nephew caused grief on and let you know it wasn't a premeditated action.

thank you

michelxshawn - It might seem a little stiff to ban a seven year old from the server, but if he cannot understand and comply with the server rules, then why should he be allowed to play with everyone else? It just causes annoyance for everyone else who sees their creations destroyed and items stolen. Regardless of whether it was intentional or not, if he isn't old enough to understand what constitutes griefing and why it is not okay, then it seems detrimental to the community to allow him to play here.

We're still considering the appeal, I'm just throwing this out there. You can respond if you'd like.

my nephew said to not bother with the appeal as for he is grounded from the computer for what he did.
