It is a light sensor it senses if its night or day. The torches are on in the day and off at night. It may be small but its a great,clever and interestingway to use redstone!

I am good with redstone and i think i would be great for creative! I could make amazing rollercoasters!

Its cool but I don't think its what they are looking for with builders.
I think the idea is to build something cool with finite blocks, showing you would be amazing with infinite.

if i had infinate blocks i could make an amazing rollercoaster with doors that open in front of u and i could make amazing redstone creations, if i had losts of redtone

and the switch is something called a BUD switch.
It detects grass growth and block placement!

This creation may not show my best but it is still very cool! Who would think u could make a minecraft clock!

Whilst it is cool, you didn't invent the BUD switch or the light sensor - that design is copied straight off the guy who invented it on youtube.

I know i didnt invent it but this guy tought me it and i thought that it would show some cool things i know about redstone!

I never said i invented it, I was also thinking about making a rollercoaster but i dont have the time to mine so much iron!

It's easy enough to copy the designs off a youtube video. What is harder is actually making them useful. At the moment it does nothing that is actually of any use.
