chest in spawn area

Would any mod/admin care if I opened up a community chest full of starter tools? I would do it in the hopes that others would take note and try and keep it stocked as well. Its just an idea. Since there are no /kits on this server it would be nice to help people who are just starting out. OR maybe just filling it completely with pick axes. Let me know what everyone thinks

That's fine with me... there's actually a chest right near where players spawn. But be forewarned, these good-hearted efforts usually don't work out very well. People just steal everything in the chest when they find it. Maybe if you filled it entirely with pickaxes, people would be less apt to take so many. Good luck!
