"connection timed out"

i keep getting a "connection lost timed out" message when i try and log on, and on teh server it shows me as logging on then back off each time. after enough tries or if i switch between the PVP and build server enough i can finally log on. some other ppl are getting the same message. and i guess its related, but the PVP server is giving some really bad lag to all of us working on our new town.

Hopefully, it's fixed now. We've had problems with this sort of lag suddenly happening ever since the hey0/beta update... or the upgrade to i7. I'm still not sure what the issue is. Everything looks normal when I take a look at the server. A restart of both server processes is usually required to fix it.
