Here's my old base on pvp4 at somewhere about x100 z1000.
This screenshot is sometime before I completed it, but I can't get one now as I destroyed it!

Now some things I made on Single Player (using sp-commands) as I've not been on the server a great deal of time.

Nice. I have a Canon Rebel T2i (I use it for film). Have you gone to school for photography? Any after image touch ups? (Photoshop ect.)

Ah, the 550d is the EU version of the T2i, so we have the same camera. Yea I bought it for film, I'm doing media arts at university next year and I did a film/design course last year. Do you have any films online?

I use photoshop plugin Topaz to stylize pictures. I would concur. Its never been about photography or film for me, I just like making stuff. Even if a lot of it is crap. Perhaps I will follow your footsteps and do a tumbler.

I have a 450D. Pre-decessor to both your cameras. I got the kit, but now I rarely use anything except my Canon EF-S 60mm F/2.8 macro lens - got it for my 18th birthday. Best lens I have ever used.

I bought a kit and I use the kit lens, not made any films with it yet though, and all my old films were on an SD camera and I'd just started so they were pretty bad. I need some decent footage to make a showreel.

Ah yea that looks quite nice, I just edit using image>adjustments now, and occasionally use pioneerwomen seventies actions if I want it to have that look. But yea I agree make a tumblr, not a lot has come out of using it, but a producer from NY saw it and asked my to design his mixtape so I guess it was worth it in the end.

Do you prefer macro photography Oli?

edit: my mate uses the canon ef-s 50mm f/1.8 for film, which is pretty decent

I've got the Canon XTi/400D. Very nice camera, though I'm jealous of the newer ones that have 1080p capabilities! Someday...

yea the whole canon EOS range is great, it's unfortunate that you bought into it too early the filming capabilities are incredible for a stills camera.

The top picture is on pvp4 right now, I developed it more than that, but then moved base. Sup3r has claimed it now and is using the island, it's about 1000 blocks west of spawn but I'll double check exactly where it is in about an hour.


edit: I'll check as soon as the server is back up exactly what the co-ords are.

I added the trees and the floating rooms initially, but then destroyed most of it and covered it in water. sup3r1337pwn3r48 claimed it, rebuilt, and changed it around to his liking now, but amazingly it's still fairly similar to how it was originally.

Prototype mayan temple as part of Mesoa, a mayan city which I'm hand building using single player commands, (I flattened the area with mcedit), that I'm hoping to build somewhere on creative.
