I just sent my first donation to- and became a member of- the Human Society. I would urge everyone to send even a tiny donation. Becoming a member allows them to send you emails about different causes, many of which you can do from your computer.

Im going to be rescuing a dog, and its one of the hardest experiences of my life. I can hardly use the website to look at the dogs without getting choked up. Theres far too many animals on the shelter website. Donating could at least help that.

You are able to do monthly donations, or one time ones. You can also do one in memory or honor of a person or pet.

Once I get old enough to keep my credit stable I believe I will donate to some kind of animal abuse cause.

It's not fair that animals get treated like from people who need anger management.

I was pretty young when we adopted the two dogs I have now (doctos say they should live for years still!) from breeders. They were reputable, professional Breeders and we saw their facilities. I didn't know how many dogs needed rescue, back then.

So, I'm gonna look for a dog that can keep up with a Chihuahua Shi-Tzu mix, and a Britney.

Im researching Miniature Pinschers, right now.

Hope you aren't talking about Humane Society of United States (HSUS) - cause if you sent your donation there, no animal will ever see it. HSUS is merely a lobbying agency - they have no shelters, they do not send money to shelters Matter of fact, they have been indicted under the RICO act (racketeering) and are on trial now for it (they paid witness to lie in an abuse case)
Let you in on another secret - those pictures they use? Most aren't even dogs they know They even used Vick's pits to look to donations - all the while testifying in court to have them all euthanized
