Finally, my builder application is complete.
PLEASE NOTE: the land around my castle, a 300x300 square, hasnt been completely cleared, and the wall isn't built. im choosing not to include the border in this app, because the upcoming build reset is forcing me to "expedite" things a bit.

this is my castle. Its located at X:10506 Y: 66 Z: 600 in build.

This is the Atrium (Entrance)

And this is the Throne Room.

Here is the newest additon, the chapel. This replaced the garden.

This all seems a little simple (That last shot is grand though.)

For example, you denote a room as a chapel but the only thing indicating that its a chapel is the cross. Take out the cross and it just seems like another room. You are showing a lot of interior shots but I'm not seeing a lot of good interior design. Perhaps you could improve on these, then you'll get builder.

I see an excellent use of netherrack, which I applaud. Using it for the forges is very creative indeed.

Sometimes, Less is more. I purposely chose to NOT pile in the stuff on the inside. sometimes i see buildings made with just too much going on, you never know where to look.

and really, what IS a chapel, other than a room with some crosses? I've personally never been in ANY church that wouldnt look like just any other grand building if you took away the crosses. I do have to say from the normal responses I see from you, that I'm happy with the "tame" response you gave me, frosting.

I'm not saying pile it full of stuff, I'm saying design with reason.
All of your walls are barren. Put some paintings on your walls, put some windows. You don't need to use glass to make windows.

Typically they have more than just crosses (Blessed wells, fire pit, commune, crypt etc. etc.)

I can't expect any builder to improve with the criticism of "You suck."

I'm testing this new approach out on you and see how well you improve.

Didn't notice it until you pointed it out. Yes! Finally someone finds a use for Netherrack!
there's a lot of stuff like that in there. you mentioned paintings, and windows. I should point out that there are about 20 paintings, and no less than 44 windows in this castle.

There are a few things you could do though. The atrium needs more light closer to the floor, the glowstone doesn't seem to give off enough light. And you shouldn't make the the thrones entirely out of glowstone, it just looks weird for some reason. Diamond blocks would work better. :3

I was only giving examples. It is impressive, just not builder material in my opinion.

Got beans?
This is nice, very creative use of stuff. I'm afraid that frosting might be right, you could add some more interior decor and make it just a little less bland but to stay in the theme.

Aether's recent version crashes multiplayer, I believe.

lets see.... neatherack amazing, lib ray needs more books, storage room is barren. maybe u could label the chest's but changing their shovels, for example dirt chest's are dirt shelves, wood for wood, cobble for cobble, netaherrack for neather, and ore blocks for material chests, ect, that would put some spiffiness in this building make it unquie and new, heck i think i might use that sorting system now!
