So who's been creating mob harvesters on the PVP server? Couple days ago I helped out a bit on Oli's massive underground harvester and it got me to thinking. Found some ideas online and built one of my own. Cranks out the mob drops at a pretty good rate. Only drawback is you have to hang out nearby to keep the chunk active.

Soc, RED_X, and several others helped out with the construction. Works quite well, probably gives around 300 drops/hr.300 per hour is about what mine's making too. No surprise since it's basically a copy of yours (had to google for details of the killing floor, though). Makes me wonder what's up with those youtube videos where people claim 10,000 items per hour. Clearly there is room for improvement
