Ignorance cause for banning?

This is only a one of a couple different things. One of the others being, "I have never seen a white person work hard" Or something a long the lines of that. I am all for interactive discussions about controversial topics, but keep it out of minecraft, and he seems to think that he has "freedom of speech" What he doesn't realize is that freedom of speech is only protected in real world countries and not in the a minecraft server.

Interesting thoughts. While I am against anything that will blatantly offend people, I also think that we can go overboard with being "politically correct". Saying that he believes it didn't happen isn't really offensive, especially when he states it as a belief, not a fact. And if someone feels that they need to be offended by a statement like that, then they should recheck their priorities. I think people like to get offended these days just because they know they can get away with it, and they like using institutions to make other people feel like they are in the wrong.

I would steer clear of such conversations, as they can quickly get out of hand, but what he said isn't bannable.

From what I understand, there was also coarse language and other information. You would need to look through the server logs, this was all I could get

Ok, I will take a look. I need to find a log parser or something - trying to look through a 20mb text file is.... clunky.
