Mansion Griefed......AGAIN!

So last night some spineless coward in Lost City decided to torch my mansion. Thanks to help from Spike, Psi, Soc, and a few others both putting out the fires and or donating of huge amounts of wood I was able to put almost everything back to the way it had been. Well looks like the [email protected]#% is at it again, now offering a 5 diamond block reward to the person that has information leading to the ban of this loser. Thank you!

Hmmm, that sucks. We'll have to start keeping a close eye on VIPs from here on out... it amazes me that someone who donated $15+ towards the server is still going around and griefing. Some people need a life.

If you could figure out about what time the fires are being started each time, and see which players are on during each time the fires are set, that might limit it down a bit. Especially since you can probably exclude mods, and guests/builders who couldn't get to the lost city.

It is sad that there are VIPs still setting stuff on fire.

Maybe we could track all uses of flint and steel, so we could limit the list down even further? (and bucket usage too I guess). Could the server record the world positions of the usage of these items?

I did track down one suspect based on who was on 10 minutes after the incident WITH flint/steel, oddly only one person. But it was just so outrageous that we dismissed it. Idk, if SgtSpike has checked the server logs at all? If desired, I can implement a feature that'll keep a server log of each time flint/steel or bucket is used and who used it on what.

This would be great to implement. Oh, and it was SgtSpike wasn't it! I KNEW IT! ;)

That's actually not a bad idea... even just capturing the /getpos x and z (z = y) and time when a lighter was used would work nicely.
