Minecraft 1.7 is being released later this week (Thursday).
The server will NOT update for several days after this happens. If you wish to continue playing on this server do NOT click 'update' when Minecraft asks you to.
As a precaution, everyone should navigate to %appdata% in Windows and backup the entire .minecraft folder to somewhere else. That way, if you accidentally update, just delete the .minecraft folder and paste your backup in.
