After a community VIP vote on the forums it has been decided that the inventories of the current build and survival map will be linked to the new ones. This decision means that everyone will keep their inventories and ALL their stuff.
Please remember - non-VIPs will NOT be able to build in current survival and build worlds when they go to legacy status. If you have any valuables in block form that you want to carry over and you aren't a VIP, you should break them down in the next few days and put them into storage.
