Minecraft not running

Hey, so any time i try to open my minecraft.jar folder, it gives me the " Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from C:\Users\Lori\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar " i know this probibly isnt the appropriate place to ask this but, dftk got me stuck on this single player commands thing XD

are you trying to install it? I'd just install it using http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/232701-611-update173-compatible-mcpatcher-hd-fix-210-02/

you just click the add symbol locate it the .zip file, remove the readme file from the list and click ok, saves you having to backup your minecraft.jar manually
