Murder Mystery

Two nights ago, Feb 9th, my friend transam77 was mining under my castle and building a small base. Out of no where someone spawned very close to him, killed him, and took all of his valuables.

What I find strange is the fact that my base and dozens of chests were left unharmed. The only things destroyed and taken were from his mine, which is only accessable through my castle. Why would someone just pass through my castle without stealing or griefing just to make their way to his mine and kill him. I sense foul play and possible TPing.

If this is a Mod or someone with special privileges TPing on top of people I want this stopped.

Transam77 said he got a quick glimse of the name, and can only recall that it started with a "V". I would like to know whether or not Mods or other people have the ability to tele to a certain person or see their coords.

If anyone is doing this it has to come to an end. It is the definition of unfair play.

To my knowledge there is no mod with a name beginning with a 'V'... Forgive me if I'm wrong.

As far as I know, moderators are intended to TP to other players and check up on them. I believe I heard some mods talking yesterday night about how doing that on the PvP server usually leads to the death of the checking-up mods... Assuming that your friend is not lying, and the death is not in fact an accident, it could be possible that the mod defended himself after your friend attacked.

Lack of missing valuables would make sense - mods are not intended to steal while checking up (I think...) and this reinforces my theory.

SolidKeevo, can you send me a private message with the coords of your castle? This will help me sort through the logs to find out if someone teleported there, or if someone snuck up unnoticed.

I can't come to any conclusions from data in the logs. I do not see evidence of a raid, and the logs do not track deaths (yet), so I can't verify that someone actually died. Do you have any further information about what exactly was "raided"?

Ummm no I checked the answer file (no idea what it's called) and there was no card saying 'god'. And btw to spell God properly it is spelt with a capital G. Spell it right you you might end up meeting --> :twisted:
