SCUM2K - Banned

Hi folks, I seem to have been banned since last night. Last thing I did was rage quit after falling into a cavern on the PVP server (into a huge mob of monsters). Pretty sure I didn't swear. As you know I'm still pretty new so if I've done something wrong I'd very much appreciate being advised / warned etc first, god knows I need the guidance. At the very least as a paying member it would be nice to see a post and reason too or perhaps an email?

I just had a read of Varg's rules here -> viewtopic.php?f=9&t=53
I wasn't aware of the looking in chests thing. I have absolutely done this before on many occassions (never taken anything though, just a nosey, especially when I'm working with people). That said, I guess that would result in a warning at least so am not convinced this was the reason for the ban. Certainly never griefed and no idea how to hack or dupe.

Wow, nope, no idea where that is, who that player is or how I managed it. If I did it certainly wasn't on purpose. Which server was it on? I've spent most of my time building a castle on the non pvp server the past week. Was it nearby? I've got my base coordinates if that helps but not going to post them incase I get griefed! Am on vent and have been all day if anyone wants to grab me. Why would I pay money to join a server and then grief people? A screenshot might refresh my memory of the damage in question if that is possible?

This case sounds like a false alarm. We'll have to wait for Sarge to come on to state his reasoning further.

scum2k, I just used the history tool based on the location eagle said. Didn't realize you were a VIP when I banned you (the list is long, and I have a short memory, but I should have double-checked), and you sound honest about not knowing what you did. I'll get you unbanned!

The "don't look in chests" thing doesn't really apply on the PVP server, since looting is encouraged. Clearly you wouldn't rip off your friends, but if you're out raiding random houses and see a chest... well....... that's what PVP is all about.

wow, ok a lot has gone on since yesterday....

I've met up with Scum, and now that we know we are neighbors, we are working together on some things, I showed him a mine I had found, and told him to feel free to use it. Sorry for misguided accusation.
