Will be installing X2, AM2+ motherboard, SSD, and Windows Server 2008 64-bit. Wish me luck, and hopefully this goes smoothly! ;)

There's still time to get people in your server - I'm just now installing Windows.

So far, the installation has gone quite well! Everything is detected, I got POST on first boot, so I'm happy. :D

Server OS's usually take a good deal of time to load, and even longer to configure. I'm estimating another 30 minutes to install, and 45 minutes to configure. It shouldn't take me too long after that to get the Minecraft service itself up and running, and I can work on installing the other items a little later (though I'll probably have to restart the server again a couple of times).

Maybe 1.5hrs longer until go live?

I think I got the hey0 mod installed correctly with MCAdmin :D
I'm rebooting that rig right now and will test out to see!

I'll post the address here in this thread once I have confirmed I can get it up and running.

OS is installed, drivers for the chipset and LAN are installed, the only issue I'm having so far is getting drivers for the SiL 3132 RAID controller I have... Hmmm....

It's an older card/chipset. After trying four different driver sets from the company's website, I decided to let Windows automatic online driver installer have a go at it, and it installed just fine. :p

Currently copying the minecraft files from the RAID1 array to the SSD.
