Severe Lag

Not sure if it's server related or what, but the past few times that I've played I've run into issues where my fps would drop to like 1 fps and then basically be unresponsive.

Anyone else come across that before? Any solutions to fix it?

I found that happened to me one time last night when I was playing... not sure what the issue is/was, but will definitely check in to it.

Ok, well, I might have found out what happened to me.

I was in a dungeon near my house when I logged off last time. I logged in and it lagged severely. I warped out to New City. No problems. I warped back to my home and found that it was all burned up and the forest that I created was burning up, too. I think that was what caused the lag on my end. So many things were on fire, it was crazy. So, that's probably what caused the lag on my end.

Hmmm, interesting. I had the lag again today, but it was far away from any burning fires, and went away on it's own after a little bit.

We'll see if the extra server ram helps at all.

It may (actually, should) come today. I'll know in about 3 hrs.

Nice, more RAM? How much do you have now and how much you looking to add?

2gb at the moment and doubling it to 4gb.

Strange problem tonight. I can stand in one spot, and place a block right where i stand. Then i can place another block on top of that one too, then im completely inside 2 blocks.

Just thought id mention it.

Interesting, haven't heard of that issue before... I'll investigate.
