I have very direct proof of other activities... but I'd like you to tell me everything you've done.
Well since you asked a reply is warranted.
Since your going by logs I assume then it should be fairly accurate although at the time I was initially banned I was only given the previous reason of hacking but this is essentially moot anyways since your also going on new evidence now.
Well lets see:
- I recall raiding and looting a brick structure somewhere in the eastern region to which I then used the owners store of about 150+ tnt to remove most of the structure and excavated land below it, the remaining part was filled with excessive amounts of lava via buckets.
- The residence of Pomusa and his associate which I also looted and promptly filled out with lava via buckets oncemore, an explosion did occur beneath in the underlying tunnel however that was caused by a creeper that had either spawned down there or had wandered down there.
- Somewhere between those two events I also looted chests (destroying them afterwards) of various buildings on the way and setting off any traps, mainly fairly sizeable TNT landmines to most effect.
- Warning on a amusing Hitler skin.
Probably guilty of some other crimes no doubt but those are the ones I can recall anywho, in any case my appeal will most likely be denied as expected but it should serve as sufficient evidence that you may need to further amend the rules for the PVP server to some degree.
Notably excessive lava spam via buckets can be just as destructive as chained TNT can as demonstrated, TNT will always be spammed by someone or other and can only really lead to more problems then legitimate uses hence your most likely better to opt for restricting it to a trusted group say VIP's or more prudently completely blacklist TNT to which the same should also be done with lava buckets. Flint and Steel is also another case in which it has more potential for grief besides simply using it to burn down walls, etc needlessly it also causes great annoyances when players begin creating huge forest fires notably there is a large area where one is currently on going and any attempt to travel within the same chunks will basically constantly crash any client, as such much of this could be avoided if F&S was also restricted to a trusted group or restricted outright.
Water buckets are a potential grey area as its quite easy to box an area where a player has logged off and then fill that box with water subsequently drowning that player upon entry, although I'm quite sure that player would just use /spawn or another teleport command to ecsape instead. Now I'm not sure on your policy about using teleport commands to escape death or PVP situations so its a grey area but it something to think about as its already been done before in all likelihood.
I'd also amend rule 5 again as it is quite ambiguous as "Mapper Program" is quite vague it could be something like a minimap ala' Simplemap or a external mapper such as Automap. Rule 2 also can be cleaned up by omitting "In other words, if you've killed a person, you cannot kill them again unless they swing a weapon at you and you take damage." as this sentence clearly defines a set action rather then simply based on any form of attack as per the previous sentence, an example to better illustrate this would be dumping a bucket of lava upon another player or some other form of alternative violence, its contradictory and would just be better as "You cannot kill the same person twice in a row without them exerting some sort of aggression towards you after they were killed".
Heh atleast griefing sometimes can generate some constructiveness in any case hopefully you give some of these suggestions/criticisms some thought or completely disregard them at your own leisure if you deem appropriate, with that I shall bid you adieu and wish you happy holidays aswell.
