Television suggestions

So this entire thread is dedicated to television suggestions for everyone. I suppose I'll go first. I have just finished Arrested Development for the upteenth time and I highly recommend watching mutliple times due to its awesome humor throughout.

I'm looking for more shows with the same type of humor and I have yet to find one.

Also, below you will find some picks of my favorite shows that I def. recommend watching:

As with most shows these days, Viewer discretion is advised.

Arrested Development (obviously)

Community (Great cast, great storylines AND it has Chevy Chase)

Parks and Recreation (Great alt. to the Office (US))

The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret (Just finished season 1 today and Oh my WOW is this show funny and risque. Its a really good watch.)

Big Bang Theory (Very formulaic however, you can't help but wryly smile at all the science and technology jokes)

Breaking Bad (Chemistry teacher has midlife crisis and starts cooking the best meth this side of the Mississippi)

Frisky Dingo (I really can't explain this show. If you like Archer on FX or SeaLab 2021 then you'll most likely enjoy this shortlived show. Each episode is only 15 minutes.)

Reno 911 (I do improv in real life so I really enjoy this show due to most of it being unscripted. The older seasons got a little dry though.)

Eastbound and Down (I originally didn't like this show, but the real payoff comes later in the series and I do recommend powering through the first 1 or 2 episodes. Also the Will Ferrell appearances in it are worth watching on their own)

I have tons more but this is good enough for now. If you want any recommendations personally OR you can recommend some of your own, leave a comment below!

You are the student, or the teacher, never both
I like the new show Once upon a time and The walking dead.
Both are very interesting to watch.

Walking Dead (Great drama, and it's focus on the survivors rather than the zombies really makes it relatable.)

Castle (The character relationships are pretty good, and the fact that it involves a writer makes me want to be just like the show.)

Chelsea Lately (A stand up comedy, round table type of show. They talk about recent stories and gossip, except they are actually down to earth and make fun of everything. Not for children, though.)

After Lately (A fake reality series about the happenings behind closed doors of the Chelsea Lately show. Same thing, no children!)

I keep hearing about the Walking Dead being good, but I watched the first 10 minutes of the first episode and was already creeped out. Is it a pretty creepy show in general?

A few of my favorites:

Burn Notice - Spy action show. Good stuff, as long as you don't mind the main actor (he kind of bugs me).

Sherlock - The British TV show. Only 3 episodes aired so far, but more are in the works. Each one is 1.5 hours long, so it's basically like having 3 movies to watch. VERY well done show IMO.

Top Gear (UK version) - If you're in to autos, and don't already watch this show, I feel sorry for you. The US version is alright, but the hosts are... wacky.

Jericho - Nuclear apocalypse survival movie. No zombies, just human vs human survival. I really enjoyed it myself, but it never had particularly high ratings.

Big Bang Theory (Very formulaic however, you can't help but wryly smile at all the science and technology jokes)
It is my completely honest opinion that they based Sheldon on my brother.
I agree with Sherlock, Top Gear, Big Bang Theory and Reno 911 and would like to add Game of Thrones, Futurama, Downtown Abbey, The Kennedys, Tintin (sort of old and prob not on T.V. anymore but they made T.V. versions of the books) as well as Miss Marple and Poirot (both murder mysterys). Thats all I can think of off the top of my head and most are G/PG/M but Game of Thrones is for adult viewers.

I'm not even remotely into automobiles and I love watching Top Gear (UK). The chemistry between the three hosts is what really drives the show. I love all of their specials (its my favorite part). Especially the one where they travel through Florida to Louisiana... or their Iraq special.

I hear that the new episodes come out around new years day in the UK, and the United States will get them sometime in late January

Another show I really like is scrubs, as wells Inside the Actors Studio. I also love SNL and Whose Line is It Anyway (US and UK). I love Top Gear(UK) and love how they trash america. Also one of the stars of that show also appeared in the show Brianiac. Thats some more to look up

To keep from possibly causing a flame war and sending the thread farther from the topic of television, I shall not retaliate. :D

*on topic*
I like TV shows.

Look's like I'm a bit late for the party.... never the less I shall attempt to suggest some of the remaining TV shows that amuse me.

CSI: Miami: I personally find it to be a pretty good show, although I'm some people disagree. But... ''equipping sunglasses'' I couldn't care less.

Criminal Minds: A mutch more dark criminal thriller, that quite frankly catches me from start to end. Highly recommend.

Reaper: In my opinion pretty original, and funny as ell.

Allo Allo: Now this a quite an old show that may not be on TV in your country (It happens to be in mine, since Denmark is a bit slow) The comedy series features a French man named Rene who owns a small cafe in German occupied France. The series focuses on Renes countless problems, and witch mostly are solved and replaced by another problem.

Feel free to laugh at me and my ancient humour, and sorry for the Horrific CSI joke.
