Texture Pack

Sorry for another thread guys. I still cannot figure out texture pack uploading. So i tried to do it again. could someone please give like FULL detail on what to do. everywhere i go it says something different. im not a computer person so i dont know names of thing either

If you're on a Windows 7 I can help if not well ignore this,
1. Have it downloaded in like your documents
2. Open your Minecraft to the mods and textue packs section
3. Click the open texture pack
4. Go to where ever you saved it
5. Open the pack up
6. Exit out and where it says default pack it should be under it
7. Click on it.
