Zan's Minimap (CC version) appears to be broken?

I think that when the Minecraft CC friendly Minimap mod was created it was broken somehow. When I try to install it, minecraft just keeps crashing. At first, I tried to install it along with
* Single Player Commands
* Too Many Items
* Modloader
* AudioMod
* Spawner GUI
* Clay Soldiers V3 (which is supposed to be compatible with every mod)
When it kept crashing I tried just installing Modloader, Clay Soldiers, and Zan's Minimap, but it still keeps on crashing. And yes, I deleted META-INF. I'm going to try to solve this myself, but in the meantime, any help, tips, and suggestions would be appreciated.

I just tried it with only Zan's Minimap and Modloader, and it crashed. It's definitely this version that caused the problem. Is CC aware of this? Anyone else having this problem?

Install Modloader FIRST before anything else. Make sure your client is working. Then install Zan's minimap on its own. Make sure it works. Then install every other mod one by one. You should never install multiple mods at the same time.

Well, I forced an update and tried installing only Modloader, and the game still crashes. I deleted META-INF and everything. Any ideas?

Joe, are you playing on an older/ slower computer, or are you trying to play in browser? Either one will cause crashes when mods are installed.

Marine05, I'm playing on a laptop that's about 2 years old. It's fairly decent, and a few days ago I could run mods fine, my computer just recently started having issues with mods.
